You may make a case for exceptional circumstances to your test centre before the test, and up to five calendar days after the test date, if you did not attend the test. Requesting an IELTS Enquiry on Result (remark)
Didn't get the results you need?
We understand the frustration of not achieving your desired IELTS band score for employment, study or migration. Good news is you can request a review (also called an IELTS remark, or IELTS Enquiry on Result) within six weeks of sitting your test. You may choose to have one or more test modules re-marked and the fee is $176 regardless. You will be notified of the re-mark result within 2-21 days of receipt of your application. If your result is changed to a higher band score you will receive a full refund or be issued with a new Test Report Form

Issues with your passport/ID document
On the day of the test, you must bring your current passport (only original and current passports are accepted). Your passport must have an expiry date of at least 7 days after the test date to be considered valid. Photocopies or certified copies will not be accepted. If you don't have a (valid) passport, we may still be able to help you.

We're sorry if your IELTS experience was not what you were expecting. We take all feedback and complaints seriously, because it helps us improve.

Complaint
We recommend you submit a complaint before your results are released, because this will give you more options for a successful resolution. If you wait until after your results have been released, your options might be limited.

Feedback
If you have comments about your test experience, you can leave feedback. Leaving feedback will allow us to improve, and you generally don't require us to investigate. Leaving feedback won't affect the release of your IELTS results.
